ENGAGEMENT OF ACT APPRENTICE IN CHITTARANJAN LOCOMOTIVE WORKS/CHITTARANJAN
Notice No. TS/157/AITT (Part)/2021 Chittaranjan Locomotive Works invites applications from interested Applicants for engagement as Act Apprentices against the 492 slots notified for training in the designated Trades under Apprentice Act 1961 in the designated trades at Workshops/Unit within the jurisdiction of Chittaranjan Locomotive Works for the year 2021-22. Details of Vacancies : 492 Act Apprentice Posts. ITI passed out candidates (NCVT- Final & Provisional) in the following designated trades.
- Fitter : 200 Posts
- Turner : 20 Posts
- Machinist : 56 Posts
- Welder (G&E) : 88 Posts
- Electrician : 112 Posts
- Ref. & A. C. Mechanics : 04 Posts
- Painter (G) : 12 Posts
Age limit : The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years, as on 15-09-2021
a) The UR candidates should born between 15-09-1997 to 15-09-2006.
b) The OBC candidates should born between 15-09-1994 to 15-09-2006.
c) The SC & ST candidates should born between 15-09-1992 to 15-09-2006.
Educational Qualification :
(i) Candidate must pass out ITI Examination (NCVT) (final or provisional certificate) and must have the certificate in the notified trades for applying under point-1(A) of this notification.
(ii) Candidate must pass in Matriculation/10th class in 10+2 examination system or equivalent examination from Recognized Board, i.e. Board which are recognized by the “Council of Boards of School Education in India” (COBSE) only, for applying under Point1(A) of this notification
The period of apprenticeship and stipend : Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentices and they will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 1 year for each trade. They will be paid stipend during their training as per the rules. Their training will be terminated after the completion of their apprenticeship.
Selection Process : There will be no written examination or interview/oral exam in this selection. Engagement of Act Apprentices will be done only on the basis of merit list on the basis of marks obtained in Class-X examination, provided in the portal.
b. Such shortlisted Candidates will be informed through registered email and mobile number by way of issuing call letters.
PAYMENT OF FEES :
- Application fees (Non-refundable) : Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
- Fee payment will have to be made online through payment gateway as part of online application process as under : Once the online application is complete in all respects at RRC/ CLWs website https://clw.indianrailways.gov.in/ will be directed to payment gateway to make payment.
- ENGAGEMENT OF ACT APPRENTICE WILL BE FROM THE FOLLOWING SOURCES: Should be registered in the portal
www.apprenticeshipindia.org. The candidates, who register themselves up to 3rd Oct, 2021, 24.00 hrs. will be treated as eligible.
How to Apply : Applicants are required to apply ONLINE by visiting https://clw.indianrailways.gov.in/ Detailed instructions for filling up ONLINE applications will be available on the website. Candidates can apply online on https://clw.indianrailways.gov.in/ from 15.09.2021 to 03.10.2021. Applicants are required to fill up the personal details/ Trade/ Aadhaar number/ Marks/CGPA/ preference for Divisions/ Workshops etc. very carefully as the Computerized Merit list will be prepared only on the basis of the information filled by the Applicant in the application form. In case of any discrepancy observed at the time of Document Verification, the Applicant will be disqualified summarily. Candidates can Apply Online till 03 October 2021.
