The online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the next Common Recruitment Process for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre Posts in the various Branch Offices of Corporation. LIC Assistant Selection Process 2023 : The examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, Online Preliminary and Online Main. Candidates who will qualify in Online Preliminary Examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Online Main Examination. LIC Assistant Selection Process will comprise of Following Stages :
- Preliminary Exam (Qualifying Nature)
- Mains Exam
- Document Verification/ Provisional Allotment/ Pre recruitment Medical Examination
LIC Assistant Pre Exam Pattern 2023 : Sectional Time Limit is introduced in Clerk Mains Exam. Pre Exam will be Online Objective type. There will be Negative Marking of 0.25 marks in Pre Exam. Pre Exam will be of qualifying Nature. There will be 3 sections in Exam as Follows :-

LIC Assistant Mains Exam Pattern 2023 : LIC Clerk mains Exam will also Objective Multiple Choice Type. Candidates in Mains Exam will be called 20 times of Vacancies (approx). There will be Negative Marking of 0.25 marks in Mains Exam. Exam will be bilingual. Mains Exam Pattern is as follows :

Reasoning:- Comprehensive Reasoning (Puzzles), Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and de-coding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions, arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements, Decision Making, Input & Output, Logical Reasoning. There will be puzzles on Floor, Direction Sense & Blood Relations.
English Language :- Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction, Fill in the blanks, Sentence Arrangements/ Word Arrangement, Comprehension & Cloze Test.
Quantitative Aptitude:- Questions will be asked from Simplification, Number Series, Quadratic Equations Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages, Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Data Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.
General Awareness:- Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, Banking, General Science, General Knowledge. Focus will be mainly on Current affairs of National & International news, Important dates, Current Science, Technology, Sports & Culture & Banking Sector. Questions from Marketing will also be in Mains Exam. Important Topics of IBPS Clerk General Awareness are :
