(MaGE), Bangalore.The South Indian Bank Ltd., A Premier Commercial Bank in India, invites applications from Indian Nationals for Recruitment of Probationary Officers in Scale-I Cadre on successful completion of Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance (PGDBF) Programme. Name of Post : Probationary Officers in Scale 1

Age Limit : Not more than 26 years. Candidate should be born not earlier than 01.12.1996 and not later than 30.11.2004 (both days inclusive). Upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years in the case of SC/ST candidates.

Educational Qualification : X/ SSLC, XII/ HSC & Engineering Graduation with minimum 60% marks under regular course.
OR
X/ SSLC, XII/ HSC, Graduation & any Post Graduation with minimum 60% marks under regular course.

PROBATION PERIOD : The selected candidates can be posted in any roles/ profiles at any branches/ offices/ departments as per the sole discretion and requirements of the Bank from time to time. The job role/ profile include branch banking, credit, business development, marketing, forex, treasury, central processing centres etc. The period of probation is 2 years. Confirmation will be subject to satisfactory performance during the period of probation.

Pay Scale : IBA approved pay scale of Rs. 36,000 – 1,490/7 – 46,430 – 1,740/2 – 49,910 – 1,990/7 – 63,840 plus DA, HRA, Special allowance & other allowances. Eligible for performance linked incentive applicable to Scale II officers as per the scheme in vogue.

Application Fee : Rs. 800/- for General/ OBC & Rs. 200 for SC/ ST Category. Applicants meeting the stipulated norms only need to apply for the post. Application fee once remitted will not be refunded in any case

Selection Process : Candidates will be shortlisted for GD/ Interview, on the basis of performance in Online test. The final selection shall be made on the basis of Group Discussion & Personal Interview.

2. Candidates are required to have Valid Email Id & Mobile No as Important Details like Registration No. & Password will be sent to this EMail Id or Mobile No.
3. Candidates should have 10th, 12th, Graduation Mark sheets to fill Online Application Correctly.
4. Scanned Copy of Recent Photography & Signature (In Prescribed Size).
5. Link for Online Application & Fee Payment will be available soon.
6. Candidates need to take Print Out of Filled Application Form for future Reference.
7. All the candidates before submission application fee check all the entry fill in the form is corrected because after fee submission under any circumstances fee should not be refundable.
