Havaldar in CBIC and CBN : 360 Posts

SSC will announce Vacancy region wise for Multitasking Staff Posts. Vacancy position indicated by the Regional Offices of the Commission in different States / UTs is tentative. Firm number of vacancies for the post of Multi Tasking Staff, will be determined by them in due course.  There will be vacancies for Following SSC Regions :

1. Central Region (CR)
2. Eastern Region (ER)
3. Northern Region (NR)
4. Karnataka Kerala Region (KKR)
5. Western Region (WR)
6. Southern Region (SR)
7. Madhya Pradesh Region (MPR)
8. North Western Region (NWR)
9. North Eastern Region (NER)

Age Limit Criteria (as on 01.08.2024) : Candidates Age Should be between 18 to 25 Years.

The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:
18-25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02-08-1999 and not later than 01-08-2006) for MTS.
18-27 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02-08-1997 and not later than 01-08-2006) for Havaldar in CBIC and CBN, Department of Revenue, and few posts of MTS in various departments
NOTE : There will be Age Relaxation of 3 years for OBC Candidates & 5 Years for SC/ ST Candidates. Candidate should note that Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/ Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate available on the date of submission of application will only be accepted by the Commission for determining the Age- eligibility and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.

Educational Qualification : Candidate must have passed 10th/ Matriculation Exam OR equivalent from a recognized Board to apply for SSC MTS Exam 2024 as on or before the cut-off date i.e. 01-08-2024. Higher Qualification Candidates can also apply for SSC MTS Vacancies 2024

Pay Scale : Pay Band-1 ( Rs. 5200-20200/-) + Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-(Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 01)

Application Fee : General & OBC Candidates has to pay Fee Rs. 100/-. All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee, as per extant government orders.
NOTE : The candidates who are not exempted from paying examination fee may submit the requisite fee through State Bank of India only either in the form of challan, generated online, or through SBI Net Banking. Payment can also be made through any Credit or Debit Card.

SSC MTS Selection Process 2023: SSC will conduct Paper I First. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Paper-II on the basis of their performance in Paper-I. Paper-II will only of qualifying nature. The cut-offs in Paper-I and qualifying marks in Paper-II may be different for vacancies in each State/UT will be fixed at the discretion of the Commission. Candidates for each State/UT will be finally selected based on their performance in Paper-I, subject to their meeting basic qualifying standards fixed in Paper-II.

HOW TO APPLY FOR SSC MTS EXAM 2024 : Candidates need to follow given steps to apply for SSC Multitasking Staff Exam 2023 :-

• Candidates has to submit their Form Online. Candidates can also send Application Form under Offline Mode too. Online Submission of Application will be done through Official SSC website www.ssc.nic.in OR www.ssconline.nic.in.
• Candidates may register once and may apply for any examination conducted by SSC. One-time registration is the permanent database for candidates. The Registration ID and password provided by the system should be kept safely so that it can be used for any examination conducted by SSC.
• Candidates can Fill their Personal Details, Academic Details & Residential Details in Online Form.
• Candidates can Submit Application Fee under Online Mode or Offline Mode.
• Candidates also need to upload their Photograph, Signature. Photograph should be of 8 bit JPG format and its size should be between 30 Kb to 50 Kb with resolution of 100×120 (pixels) and Signature of size 1 Kb to 12 Kb 140X60 (pixels).
• Candidates need to take a Print Out of Fully Filled & Finally Submitted Application Form for future reference.
