RECRUITMENT OF SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT IN INDIA METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT EXAMINATION, 2022 Staff Selection Commission will conduct a open competitive examination for recruitment to the post of Scientific Assistant in India Meteorological Department, Group „ B‟ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post, in the Level 6 of the Pay Matrix Pay Band 2 (Rs.9300-34800) plus Grade Pay Rs. 4200 in pre-revised scale), in computer based mode all over the country. As mentioned earlier, Selection to the Post will based on Computer Based Exam.

SSC Scientific Assistant Selection Process : Selection for Scientific Assistant will purely based on Computer Based Exam’s Merit List. The Commission will prepare the category-wise Merit List and hand it over to India Meteorological Department, which would declare the final result. There will be NO INTERVIEW for this Post.

SSC Scientific Assistant Online Exam Pattern : SSC IMD 2022 Online Exam Pattern will be as Follows :

1. There will be Objective Multiple Choice Type Questions in the Online Exam.
2. Questions will be from Non Technical & Technical Sections.
3. The examination would comprise 200 questions carrying 200 marks for two hours duration. The question paper would have two parts, Part – I & Part – II.
4. Total Time Duration for Exam 120 Minutes (02 Hours).

How to Download SSC Scientific Assistant Admit Card 2022 :

1. Candidates have to Download their Admit Card Region wise.
2. SSC IMD 2022 Exam will conduct on various dates so Admit Cards will available Exam Date wise.
3. Candidates may Download their Respective Duplicate Admit Cards/ Call Letter for SSC IMD Exam 2022 from the link given below in front of the Various Region.
4. Candidates can Click on the Regional Link from which they choose exam city & Download Admit Card.
5. Candidates can check Admit Card by (i) Registration No & Date of Birth OR (ii) Roll No. & Date of Birth OR (iii) By Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Exam Centre.
6. Candidates who lost Registration No. can Download Admit Card from other methods.
