UP Police Constable Selection Process 2024 : UP Police Constable Selection will be based on Merit. Selection Process of UP Police Constable may comprise following Steps :

1. 1. Written Exam (Offline Exam)
   2. Physical Test
   3. Document Verification
   4. Medical Test

UP Police Physical Exam Pattern 2024 :

1. Physical Test for UP Police Constable Post will be of Qualifying Nature.
2. For Male : Race of 4.8 Km have to complete in 25 minutes.
3. For Female : Race of 2.4 Km have to complete in 14 minutes.
4. Physical Test will be conducted after Written Exam.

UP Police Constable Written Exam Pattern 2023:

1. 1. UPPRBB will conduct Constable Exam under Offline/ Pen Paper Mode.
   2. UP Police Exam will conduct on OMR Sheet.
   3. UPPBPB can conduct Only One Paper instead of Pre & Mains Exam.
   4. Written Exam will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Exam will be of 300 Marks
   5. There can be Negative Marking of 0.50 Marks in the Exam.
   6. There will be questions from General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical & Mental Ability, Mental Aptitude, Reasoning Subjects.
   7. There is no criteria for Minimum Qualifying Marks in the exam.

General Knowledge : History, Culture, Geography, Economics, Indian Constitution, Sports, Literature, Science, Specific knowledge about Education, Culture and Social Custom of Uttar Pradesh, Revenue, Police and General Administration System in Uttar Pradesh, Protection of Women and Children, Basics/Fundamental of Information & Communication Technology, Environmental Studies, Basics of Language-Hindi Grammar.

General Hindi : अलंकार, समास, विलोम, पर्यायवाची, रस, संधियां, तद्भव तत्सम, लोकोक्तियाँ, मुहावरे, वाक्यांशों के लिए एक शब्द, अनेकार्थी शब्द वाक्य संशोधन -लिंग, वचन, कारक, काल, वर्तनी, त्रुटि से सम्बंधित

Current affairs : Current events of National and International importance, Important Personalities, Appointments, Prize, Important Places, Main Committees and Commissions, Burning Issues and Disputes, Major Settlements, Judicial Decisions, Books and Authors, Abbreviations, Miscellaneous.

Reasoning Ability : Analogies, Similarities, Differences, Space visualization, Problem solving, Analysis and Judgement , Decision-making, Visual memory, Discrimination, Observation, Relationship, Concepts, Arithmetical Reasoning , Verbal and figure classification, Arithmetical number series, Abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, Arithmetical computations and other analytical functions.

Numerical Ability : Number System, Simplification, Decimals and Fraction, Highest common factor and lowest common multiple, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Discount, Simple interest, Compound interest, Partnership, Average, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Miscellaneous.
