Details of Vacancies : Total 1191 Posts. Post wise vacancies are as follows :
- Graduate Apprentice Training : 101 Posts
- Technician Apprentice Training : 215 Posts
- ITI Passed Trade Apprentice : 815 Posts
- Fresher Trade Apprentice : 60 Posts
Age Limit : The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum will be 30 Years for Graduate/ Technician Apprentice & 18 to 25 years for Trade Apprentice as on 16.09.2023. (Relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST; 03 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) & 10 years for PWDs)
Educational Qualification :
Graduate Apprentice : Full time Degree in Engineering/ Technology in Mining Engineering branch, from Institute/ University recognized by AICTE. Enrolled on NATS Portal
Technician Apprentice : Full Time Diploma in Mining/ Mining & Mine Surveying from Institute/ University recognized by AICTE. Enrolled on NATS Portal.
ITI Apprentice : Candidate must have done ITI in relevant Trade.
Pay Scale :
i. Graduate Apprentices : Rs. 9,000/- Per Month
ii. Technician Apprentices: Rs.8,000/- Per Month.
iii. 1 Year’s ITI Apprentice : Rs. 7700/- Per Month
iv. 1 Year’s ITI Apprentice : Rs. 8050/- Per Month
V. Fresher : Rs. 6000/- Per Month
Application Fee : Application Fee of Rs 100/- (SC/ST/PWD exempted) is to be made on online recruitment portal. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance
Selection Criteria : : There will be no interviews. The eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list formed on the basis of marks secured in Matriculation examination (10th) and ITI Course/ Diploma and Bachelor of Engineering/Technology

Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online through the Career section on Western Coalfield’s website: http://www.westerncoal.in/. No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted. Before registering their applications on the website the candidates should possess the following:
a) Valid e-mail ID and mobile number, which should remain valid for atleast one year.
b) Personal details and educational qualification details and a Debit card/ Credit card/ Internet banking detail via which the payment of application fee/
c) Candidates should have scanned copy of latest passport size photograph, as well as photograph of signatures in digital format (.jpg or .jpeg file only, less than 500 KB size) for uploading with the application form.
